What is Selsun Dandruff Treatment?

Selsun Selenium sulphide destroys a particular type of fungus called dermatophyte. It also causes a decrease in the production of cells in the top layer of skin, as well as the amount of natural oil (sebum) produced by the sebaceous glands in the skin.

Seborrhoeic dermatitis is an inflammatory scaling skin condition, which can affect the scalp. The body's reaction causes inflammation to the presence of a particular type of fungus, and to products that break down oil.

How to use Selsun Dandruff Treatment?

It is not recommended for children under five years.

Children aged 5-14 years, adults and the elderly - Apply liberally twice weekly for two weeks and then once weekly for the next two weeks. After that use only as often as necessary to control the condition.

Each 100ml of shampoo contains 2.5 g of the active ingredient Selenium Sulphide (selenium disulphide Ph. Eur).
